Getting Fitter

So I have been ramping up the fitness work since I started pre-season.
I’ve been playing a lot of football and training and last week we cycled from Glasgow to Edinburgh.
I feel much fitter already and just need to keep it going into the autumn and winter.

I have finally gone back to playing amateur football after a four year absence.

Overall I feel I am getting fitter and sharper with every game and feel better already.

Hopefully I won’t injure myself .

Toy Story 3

We went to see Toy Story 3 tonight, really as good as we had hoped.
Just so much goes on that you can’t believe its over at the end.

The only thing was that a couple of younger kids in the cinema got a bit frightened of the big baby.

I was worried that I might fall asleep after a hard afternoon at pre-season training, but I made it.

Summer Gone?

Well we got back from 2 weeks in Corfu on Saturday and it really feels like the Summer is over.
The weather is totally rubbish, the kids can’t really get out and play much which is a shame.

Second Round WC2010

The second round of games in the World Cup is proving to be far more intersting than the first.
Germany have just lost to Serbia and France are almost out after losing to Mexico last night.
Much better viewing.

The World Cup is underway, not been very exciting so far though I am watching the Germans rip apart the Aussies right now.

So the Tories finally got in with the help of the Lib Dems, let’s see how that goes….

In other news, went to see The Charlatans on Friday night at the Barrowland. It was a great night it has to be said, a pure nostalgia trip from start to finish.
I pulled about 3 muscles jumping about like a dafty.
